PROCUREMENT REGULATORY AUTHORITY OF ZIMBABWE
The Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ) is a statutory body established under the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act [Chapter 22:23]. Our mandate is to regulate and oversee public procurement and the disposal of public assets, ensuring that these processes are transparent, fair, honest, cost-effective, and competitive. By doing so, we aim to promote accountability, efficiency, and value for money in public procurement and asset disposal, ultimately contributing to the country’s socio-economic development.
PRAZ electronic Government Procurement (eGP) System

The system was launched by His Excellency, President Cde Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, on 23 October 2023 marking the commencement of a pilot phase. The rollout aimed to have all procuring entities (PE’s), including Government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, fully onboarded by January 2024, revolutionizing public procurement in Zimbabwe.
