The Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (PRAZ), in collaboration with the Southern Africa Public Procurement Training Academy (SAPPTA), is pleased to invite researchers, policymakers, practitioners, and academics to submit abstracts for presentation at the Public Procurement Colloquium 2025, scheduled for 10 October 2025 at the University of Zimbabwe, Diamond Hall.

Running under the theme “Enhancing Transparency, Innovation, and Value for Money in Public Procurement,” this national forum will provide a platform to share research findings, innovations, and evidence-based reforms that support the improvement of procurement systems in Zimbabwe and the broader Southern African region.

Sub-Themes Include:
– Strengthening Legal and Institutional Frameworks
– Digital Transformation: From Policy to Practice
– Contract Management and Performance-Based Procurement
– Procurement Governance and Anti-Corruption Mechanisms
– Local Content and Sustainable Procurement in the AfCFTA Era
– Professionalization and Capacity Building
Gender-Responsive and Sustainable Procurement

Submission Guidelines:
– Abstracts should not exceed 350 words.
– Include full name, institution/organization, email, and phone contact.
– Clearly state the problem, methodology, key findings, and relevance to the theme.
– Format: MS Word, Times New Roman, font size 12, line spacing 1.15.
